How do I receive enquiries?
When a family submits a placement request for your home, you receive an email notification and the enquiry appears on your operator dashboard. You can see a summary before deciding whether to unlock full contact details.
Can I ignore an enquiry?
Yes. There is no obligation to unlock every enquiry. If a request is not relevant — for example, wrong care type or location — you can leave it locked at no cost.
When do I pay?
You only pay when you choose to unlock an enquiry. The fee is £25 per unlocked placement request, charged securely through Stripe at the moment you unlock.
Can I update my profile?
Public profile information is drawn from official CQC registration data and refreshed monthly. If you spot an error, contact us and we will investigate. Operator account details can be updated through our support team during the pilot phase.
How do placements work?
CareCompass introduces families to your home. Any admission, contract, or funding arrangement is made directly between you and the family. We do not broker care or guarantee placements.
Is there a monthly subscription?
No. CareCompass does not charge setup fees, contracts, or monthly subscriptions. The only charge is £25 when you unlock a placement enquiry you want to pursue.
Are enquiries shared with other homes?
Each enquiry is submitted to a specific care home profile. Families choose which home they contact. We do not sell the same lead to multiple providers.
What do I see before I pay?
Before unlocking, you see the enquiry summary on your dashboard — care type, urgency, funding indication, and postcode area — but not the family's full contact details.
How is family data handled?
Families give clear consent when submitting an enquiry. Unlocked data must be used only to respond to that placement request, in line with UK data protection law and our Terms & Conditions.
How do I get an operator account?
Contact us with your care home name and CQC location ID. We verify your connection to a registered home and set up your dashboard access. Self-registration is coming in a later release.
