Our mission
Searching for residential or nursing care is often urgent and overwhelming. Families need clear, trustworthy information — not marketing pressure. CareCompass brings together official CQC ratings, locations, and care types in a calm, searchable directory so you can compare options before making contact.
When you are ready, you can send a placement enquiry directly from a care home profile. Your request is passed securely to the home so they can respond about availability and next steps.
Why we built CareCompass
Too many care directories charge homes monthly fees, sell premium placement, or bury useful information behind paywalls. Families cannot tell which listings are genuine and which are paid advertising.
We built CareCompass to be different: independent, transparent, and fairly priced for operators. Homes appear in search results based on CQC rating quality — not how much they pay us. Operators only pay when they choose to unlock a placement enquiry they want to pursue.
Independence
CareCompass is not affiliated with the Care Quality Commission, any local authority, the NHS, or any care provider group. We do not recommend specific homes, provide clinical advice, or broker admissions. We facilitate search and introductions — the relationship between a family and a care home is always direct.
Official CQC data, updated monthly
Profile information is compiled from publicly available CQC registration data and refreshed through our automated monthly import. You should always confirm important details with the care home and on the CQC website before making decisions.
